I also just read Jane Eyre by Charolette Bronte. A little hard to follow at times. And I could skip sections because it was written in French. Since I don't know french I hope it wasn't to important. But all in all a good book to read.
I just read a book called The Chosen by Chaim Potok. I must say a very interesting read. I learned a little about the Jewish culture and the many ways to look and something and not ever see it. I would recommend reading it. I found the book fascinating.

Devin had the chicken pox this last week and is almost over them. He only had about 30 spots and they didn't even itch. So I was lucky in that respect. He was very upset about not being able to go to school. This week there is no school and he thinks he will never go again.

I can't wait for him to go to school. I love the quiet hours in the morning. I can read a good book or continue learning to knit. Its a good time. Don't get me wrong I like to have him home. I also just like a break now and then.

Treygan is a very confident walker. Although he doesn't look where he is going and constantly falls. He also is very opinionated even though he can't talk.

Both boys love to look at books and we read a good portion of the day.

Refried Bean Soup

Serves 4

Saute in 1 Table spoon oil, 1/3 cup chopped celery, 2 whole cloves garlic minced, and 1/2 cup chopped onion.

Prepare 4 cups instant refried beans according to package directions. Add to pan.

Add 1 (10oz) can tomato soup, 4 cups water, 1 cup or(15 oz) can diced tomatoes.

Boil for 5 minutes. Serve with Grated cheese, chips, or tortillas. Also can be eaten alone.
Made this one last night . . . .

In rice cooker cook 1/2 cup rice.

In a large pan put 4 to 5 cans chicken broth, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper and bring to a boil.

Mix 1 to 1/2 cups bisquick mix with enough milk to make firm dough. When broth is boiling add bisquick mix in tiny drops. I use a baby spoon to scoop it and drop it in. When you have it all in boil for 5 more minutes. Take off heat and add rice, mix gently. Serve with veggies on the side or alone.
I love to bake, and cook. I am low on supplies so I have been creative lately. Mixing and tasting so far most of it has been great food. Here are a few recipes for you to try . . .

Justin doesn't like the idea of a blog. So we are discussing it tonight.

We worked it out.
